Hi Friends,
I'm so glad you're here! I have dreamed of blogging about our journey of living in this house for a long time. I have so many things on my heart to share, from lighthearted, fun things like family stories and recipes to the deeper heart stuff, like marriage, parenting & faith. I have felt called to writing and speaking for a long time, but sometimes callings take a long time to blossom. For the last 10 years, we have been busy creating a family. It has been real, it has been fun, it's been real fun! I can't wait to share more with you as our family continues to grow and change over the next 10 years.
I believe there is a time and a season to everything. I have put off starting this blog for a while, honestly, because our future in this home was unknown for a very long time. (That is a whole story that I will save for another post.) But now, our future here looks brighter than it ever has. It is not lost on me however, that it is September of 2020, and quite frankly, anything is possible this year! But in spite of all the chaos this year has brought to ALL of us, good things have come along the way to give us hope to keep going. My hope is that this will be a place of encouragement during hard times, a place of refuge in the midst of a storm, and a place of joy in spite of our circumstances.
